WORKSHOP – Bankable Public Green Infrastructure and Services
Within the European Week of Regions and Cities, taking place on October 13–15 in Brussels, NATURANCE is organising the workshop “Bankable Public Green Infrastructure and Services: A Practical Approach” on Tuesday, October 14, from 11:30 to 12:30 CET, in collaboration with NetZeroCities, DesirMED and the Urban Agenda Greening Cities Partnership.
Public green spaces are crucial for climate resilience, yet regions and cities face major barriers in developing investable projects. Experts will explain how to overcome these challenges, highlight the role of public investment banks and offer practical roadmaps for bankable nature-based solutions. Participants will engage in discussions to exchange best practices and build networks for scaling up public green infrastructure and services across Europe.
Jaroslav Mysiak (CMCC), coordinator of the NATURANCE project, will moderate a panel featuring Heather Matson (Bankers without Boundaries), Etienne Aulotte (Bruxelles Environnement), and Ana-Maria Mitroi-Ciobîcă (European Investment Bank).
