The first NATURANCE digital festival will take place on June 14-15. Discover the full programme and register to the event dedicated to Innovation in Finance for Nature-based Solutions.

Welcome to the Innovation in Finance for Nature-based Solutions webstival, dedicated to finance and insurance instruments and innovations to drive the adoption of nature-based solutions and restore nature! We are thrilled to bring together experts in finance and nature-based solutions, alongside insurers, disaster risk professionals, policy makers at the European, regional, and local levels, as well as innovators from various fields.

During this event, which will take place on June 14-15, we will engage in targeted thematic discussions, interactive workshops, and presentations of innovative solutions, all aimed at fostering dialogue and providing industry insights. The purpose of this webstival is to create a platform where participants can build skills, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities for innovative financial solutions at the local and regional levels across Europe and beyond. More information and the detailed agenda can be found in the session brochure.

Together, we will explore new ideas, share experiences, and collaborate on innovative solutions that contribute to bridging the finance and investment gap in protecting and restoring nature. We extend our invitation to anyone with expertise or interest in financial innovation and insurance instruments for ecosystem restoration and biodiversity.

About NATURANCE

NATURANCE is a coordination and supporting action project funded under the Horizon Europe. The project will examine the feasibility and performance of combining disaster risk financing & investments with nature-based solutions through the creation of nature-based insurance & investment solutions (NBIS). The project aims to organise innovation finance and policy labs, analyse policy and governance conditions, assess risk-reduction performance of NBIS, and build awareness and capabilities for green financial innovations. The project’s ultimate goal is to encourage adoption of jointly elaborated principles, performance metrics, and recommended approaches to analysis and design, in accordance with EU framework for sustainable finance.
