The EEA Report No 01/2021 shows how nature-based solutions aim to increase resilience to climate change within the global and EU policy framework. A series of case studies is presented to identify examples of innovative methods and best practices and to extract lessons learned. In addition, some economic and financial instruments that can be applied to nature-based solutions are described.
