DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday October 23rd, the International Institute for Sustainable Development ( https://nbi.iisd.org/ ) presented Session 5 of the Online Training Course on Nature-based Infrastructure “Financing Analysis and Financing Solutions for NBI”. The course highlighted the best way to conduct a financial analysis for NBI projects – integrating environmental and social externalities – focusing also on main challenges and solutions of financing NBI.\nJamie Pollard (WTW) presented the Naturance project focusing on how insurance can be used to facilitate financial flows towards NBI.\nThis final course was part of a five weeks e-learning program aimed at empowering policy-makers, infrastructure planners, and investors to understand the economic and financial performance of NBI. The previous session focused on nature-based infrastructure, infrastructure planning, systems thinking for infrastructure decision-making and climate data and spatial modelling.\nWant to know more?
